A nasty building located at Camden Lock

• A VERY nasty building has been built at Camden Lock (pictured above). Who could dream up something so unpleasant?

This can be compared with the whimsy optimism of the Channel 4 building, with its egg cups, on the other side of the canal.

Is this nihilistic design something to do with plagues, Brexit, and deep depression, like the Venetian dress of 16th and 17th century in response to the plagues post 1547?
