The Royal Free in Hampstead

• IT is utterly understandable, our staff at the Royal Free Hospital are stressed out over work, we all read last week, (Staff crisis at Royal Free during pandemic ‘put patients at risk’, April 1).

Therefore, I was saddened when I read, the week before, that the RFH Nursery school was closing down due to the cost of repairing the building.

Our RFH nurses not only get offered an insulting 1 per cent pay rise by the government but then the one resource that they need is taken away from them.

They have worked their butts off for us, putting their own lives at risk during Covid-19, and this is how we repay them.

Can we help as a community to get the building that they use as a nursery repaired? We need our nurses so don’t let them down.
