The Camden Highline site is not like Haringey’s Parkland Walk

Thursday, 7th September 2023

• PETER Lyons suggests that, with time, the proposed Camden Highline would develop a “dense wall of foliage” that, as with Haringey’s Parkland Walk, would mitigate any privacy issues experienced by neighbouring residents, (Another green rail corridor? August 31).

Unfortunately, whereas the Parkland Walk is a wide footpath which occupies a disused railway course with extensive banks, the Camden Highline would occupy an often narrow channel alongside a very active railway line. And with little to no space for the growth of any such dense wall of foliage.
