Picnics in a pandemic, lockdown was at an end here
Thursday, 4th March 2021
• WALKING on Primrose Hill this weekend it would have been easy to forget that we are still dealing with a pandemic.
Bright spring sunshine bathed the numerous groups of socially undistanced friends enjoying the crisp fresh air.
Picnics and laughter were the order of the day and the takeaway outlets of Regent’s Park Road were buzzing.
Later the crowd was rewarded with a breath-taking sunset followed by the rise of a dazzling super moon.
Spring has sprung, and however Boris Johnson and the scientists dress this up, lockdown was over in this idyllic part of north London.
