THE king of cartoon contraptions, William Heath Robinson, is to be celebrated next week at a special ceremony in Waterlow Park.

The Edwardian artist, who entertained the nation with his pictures of complicated labour-saving devices, loved walking in the Highgate park and the Heath Robinson Society are to unveil a bench in his honour on Thursday September 21 at 12.15pm.
