• I AM writing in response to your March 11 report (New streatery talks) confirming that the project has been given thousands of pounds by Camden Council. There needs to be independent scrutiny into this.

From what I can see there were a few cheap looking tables and chairs put out where there should be benches, and some First Mile bins that are so overflowing that Veolia has to collect fly-tipping most days.

If only the people supporting this were so generous and concerned about the most vulnerable in the community.
