• I’M SORRY that Conxa Rodriguez (The Royal coverage overdone, September 29) felt that too much was broadcast about Her Majesty’s funeral because less than half the population watched it.

I can think of nothing transmitted either on TV or radio that has ever attracted 50 per cent-plus of the population.

So does that mean that nothing should ever be broadcast? Really? What a shame!

You didn’t have to watch any of it, Conxa! There were hundreds of other channels available to you.
