Vote for the real thing, a Green Party candidate

• DR Patrick French tries to make out that the Labour candidate in Highgate is best for “protecting our environment”, (Why I back the Labour candidate, November 16).
Well, if you want a Green councillor, I suggest Highgate residents vote for the real thing. I’m intrigued as to why Labour are so desperate to ensure Camden has no Green representation and then I look at your horrifying front page.
“Inhumane” you rightly say. If that’s what an unfettered Labour council does, then we urgently need to keep a Green opposition.
