DRINKERS will come together to remember the well-known manager of one of Camden Town’s pubs.

A gathering will take place at the Old Eagle pub, in Royal College Street on Saturday to remember Vincent Quinn.

Mr Quinn, who was found dead aged 59, in February, had managed Quinn’s in Kentish Town Road and is related to the pub’s owners It will be held by Old Eagle landlady Alison McGrath.

She said: “It’s the people who drink in here and Quinn’s who wanted to do something to celebrate Vince. There wasn’t really a chance to have something publicly after he died. He was really well liked by people who knew him, so it will be a chance for them.”

Donations have been gathered including haircuts from The One and Eddie’s salons, and a hamper which will be raffled off by staff to raise money for homelessness charity St Mungos.

It will start at 4pm and run until 8pm.

“I think there will be a lot of memories shared and people remembering him,” added Ms McGrath.
