A MAN was rushed to hospital after being rescued from a flat fire in West Hampstead.
Around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze at a block in Cleve Road around 9pm on Sunday night.
The London Fire Brigade said: “Part of a studio flat on the first floor was damaged by the fire. One man was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and was taken to hospital.”
West Hampstead, North Kensington, Paddington and Willesden crews attended and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
