• LOTS of love and thanks to everyone at the Journal for the photo and greetings on my 90th birthday, (John Gulliver: Bob Davenport’s pitch perfect 90th, June 9).

There is an old Blues song that goes “Yes I am fading by degrees, there’s nothing I can do or say”, I keep singing to myself!

It is 20 years since John Gulliver did a page on my 70th birthday.

I now need a magnifying glass to read the print, but the Journal has been a big part of my life and everyone else living in Camden, so I carry on.

I wish every one there my love and best wishes.
