I reported housing issues but… nothing happened
Thursday, 21st September 2023
• I REPORTED four issues to my housing officer at Camden Council.
Nothing happened.
I wrote five letters to Camden Council including one to the leader, two to Camden councillors, and finally two to the council repairs team.
Nothing happened.
I attended in person.
Nothing happened.
Two meetings, one to a local drop-in session, organised by the council and the annual general meeting of a council tenants’ association – the Camden Association of Street Properties – and left details to the officers representing repairs and housing.
Nothing happened.
I went to my local library and used the computer to report my issues. I did this twice over a two-month period and collected reference numbers as proof of my complaints.
So to date nothing has happened… No acknowledgement, no contact, no reply, nothing.
Still the issues are outstanding.
