I don’t wish to lead my life via computer or smartphone

Forced online
• WHY is this country penalising people who don’t use technology or never want to use it?
General practitioners, NHS, tell people to use the internet to get all medical records, or make appointments – they want to send you emails for everything.
I had to renew a contract and was told I could only receive my new contract on an email. I explained I could not print an email so I was told to ask a family member, which I haven’t got in London, or a neighbour. I do not wish people to know my business.
I asked the company to put it in a letter as they sent me a paper invoice every month and was told Ofcom wouldn’t let them. So I had to have a text message instead.
I do not wish to lead my life on a computer or smartphone or receive email receipts. I appreciate there are people who do but they shouldn’t try to force it on people who don’t use it.
