A MAN’S body was found in the Regent’s Canal, near London Zoo, on Tuesday.

Police said the death was not believed to be suspicious and a file was handed to the coroner.

People on the canal walkways told the New Journal that they were left shocked by the unexpected sight of officers helping to remove the body from the water around midday.
