• I LEFT the Labour Party in 2019 because it was focusing on poisonous political squabbling and not on winning real power.

I’ve now cautiously rejoined, since it now seems motivated to win again, but was dismayed to note that Cllr Leo Cassarani’s been deselected by the local party for no reason I can see.

There are many like me who will never, ever give unquestioning loyalty to any party again. From now I’m voting only for the candidates with the best characters, records, and reputations, whatever their political allegiances may be.
