NEWBIE writers Roz Davies and Stephen Oram shared their experiences of tackling the world of self-publishing on Saturday as volunteers from Primrose Hill Community Library celebrated National Libraries Day 2015.

Stephen, author of Quantum Confessions, and Roz, who wrote A Year of Sew Much Fun, talked about their debut publications and signed copies of their books at the library in Sharples Hall Street.

Visitors were treated to a tour of the library, along with free cakes and hot drinks.

Organiser Sumbo Abiola said: “Both the authors gave inspiring talks. Roz has even inspired me to take up sewing. This was the start of a series of exciting and new activities that we will be holding this year. We’ll be hosting storytelling and drawing workshops in February, while library supporter and local business champion Mary Portas will be talking about her new book in March.”
