A CYCLIST has been treated for a head injury following a collision with a lorry in Camden Town this afternoon (Monday).

The man was hurt at around 4pm at the junction of Camden High Street and Parkway.

The London Ambulance Service were called and treated the victim at the scene before taking him to hospital.

Although police initially thought the man was in a 'critical' condition, ambulance teams said later they do not believe the injuries sustained to be 'life-threatening'.

A spokeswoman said: "He is conscious and breathing."

Road closures are currently in place.

Witness Pamela Owen said the man had been cycling towards Camden Town when the collision took place.
