HOTSHOTS from Holy Trinity and St Silas School will be bidding for the right to represent their borough this summer after winning a place in the grand finals of the Camden Schools Sports Association Football Championships.
The boys’ Year 5 and 6 team from the primary in Hartland Road dominated their weekly North League, which was held at the nearby Castlehaven Football Pitch.
Led by leading goalscorer Jayden Irish, who ended the campaign with 12 goals after scoring in every single game, Holy Trinity and St Silas School won all nine of their matches. Goalkeeper Harley Musham also played his part as he kept seven clean-sheet, conceding just two goals throughout.
Manager Stephen O’Brennan, who runs the team with Daniel Lartey, is now preparing his side for the grand finals against the winners from the South League and the Kilburn League.
The overall champions will then represent Camden at the London Youth Games.
Stephen said: “We’re really proud of the boys and all that they've achieved so far.”
