Re: Security Patrol

• I RECEIVED no response to my email (on unanswered Camden phones) of some weeks ago, so I try again.

I encountered intruders on the Camden Street staircase today (June 4) at 16.45. When asked politely to leave refused.

Some weeks ago I was told I’d “…lived too long” (probably true, I’m 90) by another bunch of intruders who I asked to leave.

Similar intruder situations on College Place Estate have been reported to Camden for YEARS, also – personally to you with absolutely no improve­ment, no action by the paid-for Security Services (£2,900 I paid for “Services” in March 2024) more to be paid in Sept 2024 including Security I presume!

You and I have also been informed quite recently of intruder / rough sleepers in several areas. At that time our more vigilant caretaker came across two Security Patrol duty members in a car – One fast asleep, the other reading a book!

That is what we are paying for?

As above, residents seem also to be in a “nil response”, situation with regard to Elected Members.

One response from you to at least eight emails over a long period (of course, no action, just outraged verbiage).

I have – on asking for the telephone number of the Security Patrol – just been transferred around Camden switchboards and departments for half-an-hour just now because no one has the patrol phone number – seemingly!

What has happened to Camden “Admin” to overpaid “Management” for all the hundreds of millions it charges and receives every year?

Have you all died?

Or, is resident wellbeing at the bottom of your priorities (until voting time – of course)?
