Geoffrey Gilbert: ‘Can’t wait’

SO, Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Tomas Rosicky is to be offered another contract by Arsenal.

I really do not know what for. This is a man who went two years without scoring a goal and now, suddenly, he will be part of our push for honours next season.

So will a quality player leave instead? Santi Cazorla maybe?

I thought we only wanted top class players at Arsenal? Or is this one of Arsene Wenger’s cheap and cheerful acquisitions as he again attempts to save money as if he was spending his own!

Nothing changes. So next season will yet again be one full of empty promises unless we can win the FA Cup this season without a recognised goal-scorer!

When will we win another trophy?

I cannot wait forever! I will be 82 in May.
