• RICHARD Osley is clearly desperate in his attempts to downplay Spurs’ form this season (The Crow, December 29).

Instead of lauding the achievements of his beloved Arsenal he warbles on about the Norwich City team of 18 years ago.

He notes that Spurs have still to play away to Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal, failing to mention that even last season, when Spurs were a poorer side than they are today, they beat Liverpool at Anfield and Arsenal at the Emirates.

Mr Osley should just accept that the balance of power is swinging from south London (Woolwich) to north London (Tottenham).
