• READERS horrified by the outbreak of knife crime in Camden can do more than march (setting off from Queen’s Crescent at 4.30pm today, Thursday March 22). They can support their local youth clubs.

Young people need safe spaces to hang out with their friends where there are a range of interesting activities on offer. Youth clubs also offer homework clubs and help in getting into jobs or further and higher education.

Most of these clubs are run by voluntary organisations and Camden is able to offer little or no financial help. GOAL youth club has operated in the Queen’s Crescent area for more than 20 years. We have to raise £100,000 every year.
