HAMPSTEAD stormed into the final of the Hertfordshire Girls League Plate with a convincing 7-0 win away at Hemel Hempstead Town.
Sarah Whale, who started in goal, put her shooting boots on in the second half and hit a hat-trick. Hannah Dalgilesh added two, while Adelaide Hayes and Rosanna Frith-Salem also scored.
Meanwhile, Josie Shand, Shermayne Thomas and Tinny Charles all scored from the spot as Hampstead’s Under-14s survived a shoot-out to book a place in the Middlesex County Cup final.
Goalkeeper Tamsin Wickens made three top class saves to earn her team a 3-1 victory on penalties away at Enfield.
Goals from Charles and Naomi Croft had given Hampstead a 2-0 lead in normal time before the home side hit back.
