Without proper planning debate, put major developments on hold

• AM I alone in Camden in not having internet access?

You can imagine my dismay when, as I understand, that the developers of Belgrove House in Euston Road have chosen these difficult times to start a planning application process using virtual community events.

This approach excludes all those in my situation from the planning process.

In the absence of the usual planning procedures, consultation and public debate, it is difficult to see how there will be effective public scrutiny of this development.

I would suggest that all major developments in the borough should be placed on hold until we can return to the usual cut and thrust of public debate.
