Death of Haverstock Hill

Parking spaces on Haverstock Hill have been removed
• AS a frequent visitor to Belsize Park I got the shock of my life on Monday on my way to have a coffee at Pret and do a bit of shopping in Budgens.
To my horror there was nowhere to park my car. A redundant cycle lane now runs from Chalk Farm to Pond Street both ways with every parking space removed. How has this been allowed?
Rosary School at one of the highest points in London has many parents with no option than to use their car. It’s impossible to stop and drop them off.
How are ambulances supposed to deliver patients to the Royal Free Hospital on a blue light emergency?
So sad for all those businesses that will surely suffer on what used to be pleasant, convenient place to shop by car.
RIP Haverstock Hill.
