Winning! So school needs another trophy cabinet

WHEN the new trophy cabinet arrived at Haverstock School, PE teacher Jamie Histed drew an excited giggle from headteacher John Dowd when he said, “I hope you’re ordering another one because we won’t fit all our cups and trophies inside just one!”
If youngsters from the secondary in Chalk Farm start the year how they ended 2015 then they might just need another trophy cabinet sooner than they think.
Led by star player Gabriela Biscotto, the Under-15s girls’ basketball team were jumping for joy after they beat Parliament Hill 13-8 to win the Camden School Sports Federation (CSSF) League.
While the girls were picking up their winners’ trophy, Haverstock’s Under-15s boys’ team were busy beating Acland Burghley 3-0 to win the CSSF Football League and add to the school’s surge of silverware!
