• THE Pride month of June has finished (although “Trans Pride” took place on July 8).

For what seems like weeks and weeks we have seen the “progress flag” emblazoned over chain stores, charity shops, public transport, shopping centres, etc, all proclaiming Pride.

Are your readers aware that July is Disability Pride month? Will we see similar flags, bunting, celebrities, processions, festivities and corporations adopting this logo at every PR opportunity?

I’m waiting with bated breath.
