Will the minister be playing hardball with the developer?

• CONSERVATIVE councillor Steve Adams wrote to the CNJ last month to praise himself for supporting a “hardball” response to Essential Living’s attempt to renege on its commitment to “affordable” housing at 100 Avenue Road, ignoring the fact that the project only got planning permission in the first place because a Tory minister overruled Camden’s refusal to give it.
Now we learn the developer aims to get “levelling up” supremo Michael Gove to overturn Camden’s rejection of their latest attempt to twist the building spec in their favour.
So come on Cllr Adams, will you step up and insist that a Tory minister “plays hardball” this time round and tells EL to get lost?
