How the mural of Billy Fury looked

• I HAVE just read the article about the defacing of a Billy Fury mural, (Fury! Fans’ reaction to singer’s lost mural, April 5).

In the planning application for the (now closed) 317 Finchley Road pub, the scheme (just started) entails the closing of Billy Fury Way and repositioning it next to the railway tracks by Finchley Road and Frognal station.

That, I take it, would mean the closing / demolition of all the existing Billy Fury Way.
