Why were these ward councillors not at the CIP meeting?
Thursday, 17th August 2017
• JUST a month ago you published a series of letters with views like “we want representatives who care about our area” and “the council refuse to listen”.
The CIP Challenge meeting at the town hall last Tuesday proved again how right those residents are with that impression.
Gospel Oak and St Pancras & Somers Town were the centre of discussion but no Labour councillor of either ward attended. Labour take voters utterly for granted – the result of Labour being three decades in power – a sign of a bankrupt political elite losing connection with the people.
