Why was our MP not on the march for a people’s vote
Thursday, 25th October 2018
• NOT 48 per cent but 75 per cent! That’s the proportion who voted Remain in Camden in the 2016 referendum.
Ever since, we LibDems have been calling for a vote on the deal, a chance to look properly at what is on offer, and determine whether that is better than the deal we currently have.
Some 700,000 people marched through central London, from all corners of the country, not just Camden, to demand a people’s vote.
Why was our MP, Sir Keir Starmer, not there, to at least listen to us while he continues to toe the party line and put party before country?
