Why vote against your self-interest, Mr Braithwaite?
Friday, 14th May 2021
• I READ the “guilty confession… I ‘lent’ Boris Johnson my vote – because I couldn’t vote for Jeremy Corbyn and I wanted ‘to get Brexit done,’” from Paul Braithwaite with complete incomprehension, (When will people wake up about this prime minister? April 29).
I had always believed in his commitment to the urgent need for climate protection across the globe.
So why on Earth did he vote for this scoundrel Johnson when he knew he cared not one jot for the climate or the welfare of the people who voted for him.
Paul Braithwaite knew Johnson was a self-promoting narcissist.
Jeremy Corbyn MP may be lacklustre and afraid to cause controversy but he is an honest politician, all too rare in this country.
I am Jewish but never believed in the hysteria whipped up by the media against him.
Can Paul Braithwaite give me his reasons why he voted, like so many, against his own self-interest?
Climate change is a serious matter.
