Road works in Royal College Street

• I WROTE in August about yet more street works in Royal College Street, only six years after an expensive major redesign of this A road.

Now a long stretch of the cycle path and roadway, from just south of the Regent’s Canal bridge to the Prince Albert public house (see picture) is now again the subject of further street works.

Why is money being wasted like this? The only obvious improvements will be to the contractors’ bank balances.
