• WHY does everyone (seemingly mostly women in this area) constantly walk along talking on their phone, often not looking where they are going, often talking at a bus stop, getting on the bus still talking, and getting off at the end of their journey still talking?

Why? They complain about the frequent thefts but they are the ones taking the risk and asking for it. If they must talk, go into a shop or sheltered doorway or out of sight of the road.
