• WHY would a chemical implicated in genetic damage and cancer, damage to beneficial insects and soil organisms, be openly sprayed on Queen’s Crescent and surrounding streets on the busiest day of the week, the Thursday market?

Near people, buggies, food deliveries, vegetables, pets, all at low level.

The employee spraying informed me he was spraying glyphosate. He was not wearing long sleeves or a mask, both recommended PPE, personal protective equipment.

Glyphosate is also being used around flower beds in Queen’s Crescent.

Camden contracts others to do the work. So that’s all right then?

I contacted the firm that has the street spraying contract on May 2 but have not received a response.
