Why are our MPs silent on this sectarian cull?
Thursday, 20th January 2022
• IN a genuinely surreal twist to Camden Labour’s thoroughly corrupted selection saga, the parties are inviting members who have not yet been blocked to apply to become candidates, presumably in the hope that they will be able to exclude more socialists from the panel of candidates and further narrow the pool of potential councillors.
It’s worth reminding CNJ readers that the hard right have already removed sitting councillors and stopped long-standing party members who wished to represent Labour.
Apparently their shameless sectarian cull has been so successful they no longer have enough lapdogs to fill the vacant places.
Meanwhile our MPs remain complicit in this disgrace by remaining silent. This is not democracy. It is a crude abuse of process.
