• CAN anyone help me resolve a mystery about my past?

I was born in 1937, December 2, at the old Royal Free in Gray’s Inn Road. My mother didn’t see me for three days and was concerned, to say the least.

I was born with two club feet which were corrected at birth with massage and manipulation, no surgery, nuts, bolts, or screws. Presumably that’s what they were doing in those three days. Mum had to wheel me down there for treatment for years after leaving hospital.

I am very keen to find the name of the person who did that wonderful work. Tried PALS – no help – and it occurred to me that the CNJ might be able to help.

I am not going to be around for ever and would really love to have a name before I pop off. Any information would be gratefully received at: letters@camdennewjournal.com
