How the new tower in Somers Town will look

• I HAVE lived in Camden for a total 11 years. In all that time I have never known a single resident who wanted more overcrowding, more traffic and pollution, more concrete jungle and less open space, fresh air and sunlight.

Who then do our councillors think they represent, the residents of Camden who voted for them or people from outside the borough who want to move into it?

Or – surely not – billionaire property developers from overseas? (Far East partners take on tower project given council go-ahead, October 17).

I would like to see the New Journal name and shame all the councillors involved in approving the atrocity about to be perpetrated in Somers Town against the interests of the local residents.
