• I AM sure it is no coincidence that recently two Camden residents have contacted me, separately, desperate for help with health-related housing issues.

These two council tenants had contacted the council about their respective, both very serious, problems, to no avail, and had turned to me for help.

In one case this housing difficulty was making the resident’s life a misery, quite literally, as her doctor stated that her accommodation was causing her depression.

There is currently not a single Conservative councillor in Holborn and St Pancras. What does it say about the Labour council that desperate residents are turning to the chair of the local Conservative Association for help, when there are 34 Labour councillors in Holborn and St Pancras who are supposed to be representing them?

Camden deserves better.
