• CAN anyone help me as to where I can park near the newly reopened Budgens store in Haverstock Hill, on occasions where it might be necessary to drive?

As the road is now only lined with cycle routes, bus stops, and several new zebra crossings, am I the only person missing the opportunity to use the few parking spaces that were available?

As someone who is self-employed and works from home near Adelaide Road, I bill clients for my time, so I would use my lunch break to make best use of time and car trip to visit Budgens, drop off charity clothes, visit the bookshop, and perhaps pick up from the hardware store; but its no longer possible unless on foot or bus.

Catching the bus and carrying out errands, being back within the hour, is not realistic or reliable – with or without shopping – so I find myself heading off elsewhere. I haven’t used the parade now for a few months.

It would be interesting to know the impact on the shops along that part of Haverstock Hill and hear what the shop owners themselves think of the new road layout?
