Scaffolding collapses in Camden Town

• I AM amazed that on Friday May 22, at approximately noon, as I was crossing Camden High Street at Pratt Street junction the scaffolding covering the building crashed forward and into the street below, covering all the pavement and the new blue street space.

Miraculously no one was hurt. There was thick dust and screaming.

I cannot understand why I can find no mention of it on TV, teletext, internet or newspapers, especially a local newspaper, even though there were a lot of police there at the time it happened and witnessed it.

The following day there was not a trace of it; perhaps the scaffolding company removed all the evidence but how come there were no photos either? It would be interesting to know the reason for this.
