ARSENAL and England star and Kick It Out ambassador Jordan Nobbs surprised supporters on Wednesday when she joined in the celebrations for International Day of People with Disability.

Arsenal in the Community hosted a series of fun activities, including a disability football session, a tour of the disabled facilities at the Emirates Stadium and a Kick It Out workshop.

ITV’s Clive Tyldesley also joined in by hosting a visually impaired commentary session, where participants listened to commentary designed for visually impaired fans before trying it themselves. “This type of event really builds confidence for supporters with disabilities,” said midfielder Nobbs.

“I was getting involved with the wheelchair football – it’s incredible that they have come here to get involved. It is a real inspiration.”
