What was the CNJ thinking of with this piece on tattoos?

One of Cllr Pat Callaghan’s tattoos
• AS someone whose “moderate” social care needs are no longer being met by Camden Council, I read with dismay Richard Osley’s personality piece, almost a full page on Cllr Pat Callaghan’s tattoos, (Pat’s tats: Deputy council leader explains love of body art, October 11).
What was the New Journal thinking of with this story? Camden Council is expected to make overall budget reductions of £78million between 2015/16 and 2018/19 and faces acute spending pressures from a population that is aging, ailing and needing adult social care.
Surely the paper should have used an interview with the cabinet member for health inequality and promoting independence to ask her how she plans to protect adult social care and offset growing health inequality with less funding.
Do you not realise that voters and ratepayers are interested in her plans for improving health outcomes in Camden where men die 9.5 years and women 7.3 years earlier in deprived areas than in wealthier parts of the borough.
Perhaps we could have been told about some priorities or strategies for carrying out her responsibilities in the next year. No. Instead we hear about her body art. The words deckchairs and Titanic come to mind.
