• BORIS Johnson bungled Brexit, failed to obtain a site for abacus school, closed our fire station, police station and failed with Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s release and now he has the audacity to stand to be prime minister. Meanwhile Nazanin continues her life in Evin prison in Iran.

The foreign office have admitted there is a debt to be paid for the tanks that the ex-Shah of Iran paid for but now we learn that the defence ministry refuse to pay up because the two departments don’t get along. What a generation of selfish and self-seeking politicians we have.
