HOTSHOTS from the Queen’s Crescent Community Association can proudly boast to be the kings of the capital after winning the London Youth Football Championships on Wednesday.

Held in Shoreditch, the Under-14s side (above) will now go on to represent London in the southern counties finals in April, where they will be bidding to win a place in the national finals which will be held in Manchester in the summer.  

It’s a great result for the five-a-side team, who got together after taking part in one of the youth sports programmes at QCCA, which are funded in partnership with Gospel Oak Action Link.

QCCA sports co-ordinator Jonathan Montgomery said: “I would like to congratulate the young people involved and hope they motivate other local young people to get involved in sport.”
