Weng Wah House restaurant to be replaced by wine bar
Friday, 17th April 2015

ONE of London’s first Chinese restaurants is due to re-open as a “sleek and seductive” wine bar.
The Weng Wah House in Haverstock Hill – a landmark institution of NW3 – will be transformed into a new “Truscott Cellar” in June.
Open 12-11pm, it will be run by restaurateur Andrew Fishwick, who set up the multi-award winning Truscott Arms pub in Maida Vale, with the head chef at the award-winning pub overseeing the menu.
The Weng Wah was celebrated for its high quality and adventurous range of dishes, and held many a raucous night in its disco-ball karaoke basement.
