• I WRITE in praise of the continued support by Camden Council for the Camden New Journal.

Week after week our council has placed several pages of up-to-date news and guidance on coronavirus and council services. This is both helpful and timely.

I suspect it’s also a lifeline for our local paper. The CNJ is certainly one of the very best local papers in England, free or paid.

It is one of Camden’s hugely valued and much appreciated assets.

So thank you to the gutsy team at the CNJ and to Camden Council for its ongoing support. I’m not often complimentary but in this instance, well done all.
