LONDON’S Latest Scandal, also known as LLS Café-Deli, in Hampstead has asked the Town Hall for an alcohol licence. The boutique café in Heath Street said in its application that a licence would allow it to “sell wines and cocktails alongside tapas”, adding: “The community is very eager to have a place that offer such a combination.” It added that staff “will continuously ask its patrons to keep their voices down to a minimum as well as making sure that screaming or loud speaking is to be avoided”. Music will be for ambiance and not dancing, the bid said. Council licensers are reviewing the application for a licence until 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 7pm on other nights.
