• THE Royal Free Hospital open day on Thursday highlighting the proposed new patients’ hotel and offices overlooking Hampstead Green bears all the usual hallmarks of this stealthy campaign’s efforts to keep consultation to a minimum.

Comments have to be in within a few days, allowing no time for residents to absorb the 360 pages of engineering reports which actually misses out five vital technical appendices. HGNG and St Stephen’s Trust will be mounting a legal challenge, on the grounds that an incomplete consultation is no consultation at all.
