Kentish Town Development

The area marked out for development in Kentish Town

• I VISITED the recent consultation on proposals for Murphy’s site and was very concerned at the cluster of tall buildings close to Gospel Oak station, (High times ahead in Kentish Town? November 14).

These propose heights of 18 storeys or even more. The Archway Tower is 17 storeys so if you stand on Parliament Hill you need to visualise three or more Archway tower equivalents behind Gospel Oak station.

This is totally unacceptable and will impact on the views from the Heath and loom over the lido and southern part of the Heath.

If these are allowed they will set a precedent for similar towers next to Kentish Town station when the Regis Road site comes up for redevelopment. You have been warned!
